Dinner Sleigh Ride
Snuggle up and take a horse-drawn ride to our cozy dining cabin where you will enjoy a delicious three-course ranch menu accompanied with live guitar music. Warm up with hearty elk chili and cornbread. Main course includes savory roast beef and rustic roasted root vegetables, and finish your meal with a homemade peach berry cobbler topped with whipped cream. After dinner, your tour continues through a tree-lit ponderosa pine forest as the horses return you to the starting point. Approximate 2 hour duration.

Public Scenic Rides
Your one-hour venture includes a meet-and-greet with the draft horses and driver, a warm beverage, and photographing opportunities. This unforgettable scenic horse-drawn ride takes place on a secluded ranch setting offering mountain, meadow, and lake views. Evenings offer the added glow of special lights along the tour. Ride duration is approximately 40-45 minutes.

Private Scenic Rides
Upgrade your private group! Scenic ride includes all amenities as a public ride and allows for private group photographing opportunities. Intimate horse-drawn vehicle fits up to 6 people, but we can accommodate groups up to 20 guests.

Our horse-drawn rides are appropriate for all age groups and can accommodate guests with mobility issues. No weight limits are required to participate. Reservations strongly recommended, as seating is limited. Call us for special options such as weddings, engagements, family reunions, retreats, and groups larger than 20 people.
Location
We are located at 700 Honey Bee Place, home of Elk Trace Bed & Breakfast. Follow the signs off of Piedra Road and turn left at the first driveway entrance at Elk Trace, near the horse barns.

Dinner Wagon Rides
Fill up on a delicious BBQ menu of smoked brisket sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, lemonade, and s'mores at our "Buckaroo Camp". Includes scenic wagon ride, guitar entertainment, outdoor games, and plenty of memories. Offered every Wednesday and Friday throughout summer, approximate 1.5 hour duration.

Campfire Roast
Enjoy a summertime favorite roasting all-beef hotdogs, s'mores and more while a guitar entertainer plays classic songs around the fire. Such an amazing experience. Buck for his warm welcome on our arrival. Brian for attention and narrating ride. Hope drives a good team who happen to be 2 great half siblings named Mitch & Mike. We were disappointed there wasn't enough snow for a sleigh ride but Buckaroos still welcomed us and provided a fun time and ride with the horses. Thank you!

Our family greatly enjoyed the Winter ride with Buckaroos! Even though there was no snow to do a sleigh ride and the trails were muddy limiting where they could go, they made it a memorable event. We very much enjoyed learning about and interacting with the horses: Mitch, Mike, & Jake in the barn and Brenda & Rocky as the team. Oh yea ... both Brett our guide and Naomi the Horse Whisperer were very knowledgeable and provided a great experience. We highly recommend a Private Scenic Ride if you can swing it.
